9:00-10:00The old city of al-Bireh: al-Ain Mosque, Khan al-Bireh, Church of the Holy Family, and the historic Jerusalem - Nablus Road.
10:00-11:00Ramallah city center: Menara, Presidential compound Araft's Mausoleum.
11:00-12:30Bus drive through Surda, the Israeli Settlement of Beit El, And a visit to Jalazone Camp for meetings with officials and the people.
12:30-13:30Beitin: The historic Palestinian village of Beitin is located 3 km northeast of Ramallah. The present small village was once an important Cannanite city-state of the rank of Shechem (Nablus), Kiryat Arba (Hebron) and Megiddo. The modern name is
clearly a derivation from the Biblical name Bethel, meaning “House of god”.
Highlights: Tell Beitin, Tower of Beitin, Water System, Roman Pool, Ancient Mosque/Church.
13:30-14:30Light Lunch in Jifna: This beautiful picturesque Christian Palestinian village of is 8km north of Ramallah. It was once a major Roman/Byzantine city and the capital of the region. It is now famous for its fantastic restaurants, bars, and swimming pools as
well as its delicious apricots. On our way to Jifna we will pass the historic village of Ein Sinia.
14:30-15:00Bus drive through Birzeit, Atara, Um Safa: The small town of Birzeit gained
international reputation thanks to its University, which is the oldest Palestinian University. The origins of the village date to the Roman-Byzantine periods. And its highlights include Khirbat Birzeit,, the Latin Church, and the old and new campus of
the university.
15:00-16:00Aboud: This half Christian, half Moslem village is located 25 km northwest of Ramallah. It is the only village in the region in which Christians settled and remained for centuries. Arab muslim families came to the village during the Ayyubid and
Mamluk dynasties 12-13 th century. The Old village center of Aboud has numerous historical buildings. Highlights: Church of Saint Mary, Monastery of St. Barbara and The Latin Church.
16:00-16:30Shuqba & Wadi al-Natuf: Shuqba is about 25 km west of Ramallah. The village is famous for its very important Paleolithic cave and valley which has given its name to
the whole Natufian Culture in the ancient Near East. Highlights: Shuqba Cave and Wadi al-Natuf.

12:00-13:00Drive to Jericho with brief stops at the Good Samaritan Inn, Sea Level, Wadi Quilt and Saint George's Monastery.
13:00-14:00Jericho City Center (Light Lunch)
The city center is dominated by the main square, which has its own special charm, surrounded by all kinds of shops and restaurants. Highlights: City Hall, vegetable market.
14:00-14:15Tree of Zachaeus: The large sycamore tree is the site of Zachaeus the tax collector's encounter with Jesus Christ.
14:15-15:00Tel Jericho & Ain al-Sultan Spring (Elisha's Well). This site dates back to 9000 B.C. and in it Jericho’s ancient history is visible through the famous Jericho tower and mud brick city walls.
15:00-16:00Mount and Monastery of Temptation & Sugar Mills
This is where Jesus spent 40 days and 40 nights fasting and meditating, managing to resist as Satan sought to tempt him. The Jericho mills were built by the Crusaders to expand sugar production in the region for export to Europe.
16:00-17:00Drive back.
