Baskets and plates of various shapes, colors, and sizes are made from woven olive fronds and rushes and wheat straws that have been naturally dyed. Each has its own individual design reflecting the taste of the weaver. The items on offer at PACE’s Handicrafts Exhibit are made by women from villages in the Ramallah and Nablus areas, such as Beit Rima, Kufur Nimeh, Jamma'in, Kuful Hares, Qarawa and Deir Jarir. The prices of such items varry according to size, shape and quality. A medium tray woven from wheat straws is between 15 and 40$ while medium baskets made of olive fonds are selling at 15-20$.
